Caring for Your Bling
Your KC Exclusives piece was crafted with premium heat-set rhinestones and hand-applied embellishments. Follow these steps to keep it sparkling for years to come.
Dryer is fine — just keep it on low heat
High heat is what damages rhinestone adhesive. Tumble dry on the lowest setting and your piece will come out looking great.
Washing
Turn Inside Out
Always flip the garment inside out before washing. This protects the gems from direct agitation.
Cold Water Only
Use cold water — 30°C / 86°F maximum. Hot water can weaken the adhesive bond over time.
Gentle Cycle
Select the delicate or gentle cycle if machine washing. Never use a heavy-duty or normal cycle.
Mild Detergent
Use a gentle, dye-free detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, or any product with harsh chemicals.
No Wringing
Never wring, twist, or scrub the embellished area. Gems can be loosened by direct mechanical force.
Drying
Tumble Dry Low
You can use the dryer — just keep it on the lowest heat setting. High heat is what causes gem loss, not the dryer itself.
Air Dry Works Too
Laying flat or hanging to air dry is always a safe option if you prefer it, but not required.
No Iron on Gems
Never press an iron directly on rhinestones. If pressing is needed, iron on the reverse side only.
Storage
Store Flat, Bling Up
Keep pieces flat with the decorated side facing up. Stacking bling-down can put unnecessary pressure on the gems.
No Special Storage Needed
No garment bag required — just treat it like your favorite clothing item and it will hold up great.
