The USASF-sanctioned dance ecosystem. Studios train and compete on an All-Star model, with The Dance Worlds in Orlando every April as the pinnacle event. Junior, Senior, and Open divisions each have distinct bid pathways and category eligibility.

Bid types
Three bid types at Senior level, video qualification at Junior. No Wildcards in dance — that's a cheer-only mechanic.
Paid Bid
Up to $650 per athlete + 2 coaches. $25,000 team cap. Most prestigious, rare.
Partial Paid Bid
Up to $325 per athlete + 2 coaches. $5,000 team cap. Most common award.
At-Large Bid
Worlds qualification only — no financial sponsorship. Most accessible.
Bid Boost
Up to $100/athlete cash award at designated events for teams already holding a bid.
